I know there are loads of post on this topic but can't find the answer I'm after. I've got a blanking plate and gaskets on it way so hoping to get the job done soon. I want to remove the egr to give it a good clean. To do this I have to pull out the 2 vacuum hoses - do I literally just pull them out. When I reassemble how to go about replacing these hoses. Are neither of them needed no the egr has been blanked? What is the best thing to do with them?

Thanks

Rory

Thanks MJE - I was really just wanting to now whether I simply just pull the hoses off to disconnect and then push them back in to reconnect or if there is anything else I need to do with the hoses
