I've done a egr delete on my van and it now seems gutless I've got the 2 small vacuum pipes that went to the egr and actuate not sure what to do with them one is a vacuum any body had the same problem ? New turbo fitted as well ?

P's it's a Atd out of a golf mk 4 engine I've fitted 04 plate van so no dpf I don't think it needs plugging in to delete it as there's no dpf cheers

If the pipes are from an electroic valve like an N75 then you might need to map it out at the ECU.

However, even if its not and you didnt plug the pipes then youve effectively disabled your vac system and everything that relies on it :)

On some engines the assembly combines the ASV and EGR which is why you may have 2 pipes.

I can't speak for VW, but on my 406 any open ended pipe in the vacuum system means you lose the turbo too, as the vacuum that would control the wastegate is leaking - so effectively no turbo!

Plug the pipes with an old screw, and take it from there.
