Hi there, my friend has just purchased a 07 t5, the electric windows both stopped working at the same time. Switches are fine but just wondered if anyone has had the same problem? Need to know where relay/Dsb is for them and which one?? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks jamie

Hi Jamie,

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago and traced it to a blown fuse caused by the windows binding in their runners and overloading the window winder motors...

I sprayed silicone spray into the window runners and located the fuse behind the dash near to the headlight switch (accessed by opening the drivers door and popping off the grey end panel of the dashboard.

My windows are aftermarket windows mind you, not factory fitted so don't know if all fuses are located in the same place. Fuse was a yellow coloured 20 amp blade type fuse which I replaced and ( touch wood ) appears to be holding... I:
