Hello Everyone. Tramore is a hamlet in the Bonnecherre River valley in Ontario, Canada - about 2 hrs east of Algonquin Park adjacent to Killaloe Ont.
I'm am looking at purchasing a 1995 Westfalia Eurovan camper. It comes with the 5 cyl 2.5l gas engine with 200K kms on it (WV2PE0709SH035423). I have a 2010 TDI with the 2.0 TDI engine. A 'dieselgate', so called, engine. A few months ago, the engine seized and under the dieselgate warranty, Volkswagen spent $21K(CAD) plus to install a brand new engine and turbo into the Jetta at no expense to me.
The CJA engine and DSG transmission have the following specs:
Engine: CJA
Engine Type: CJAA 2.0 Turbo Direct Injection (TDI), in-line 4-cylinder, Common Rail (CR)
Horsepower (SAE): @ rpm 140 @ 4,000 (103 kW @ 4,000)
Maximum torque: lb - ft @ rpm 236 @ 1,750–2,500 (320 Nm @ 1,750–2,500)
Actual Values: [103 kilowatts (140 PS; 138 bhp) @ 3,750-4,150 rpm; 320 newton metres (236 lbf·ft) @ 1,750-2,800 rpm]
Turbo: Berg-Warner stock 25psi boost
Transmission: 6-speed dual clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) with Tiptronic® & Sport mode
