As my t4 engine has recently died, am looking at replacements. DOes anybody know whether any other vag engines will go. i.e 2.7 a6 diesel, 2.0 diesel sharan????????????????????????

as me and a few others on here have done is to fit the 1.9 TDi lump from 94 to 98 vw's
goes pretty much straight in loom plugs into fusebox as they all share same box.
Goes like stink and is reasonably frugalT:

Do these engines give u the old sump plug and dipstick in the wrong place problems?

Hi im thinking of this 1.9 tdi conversion instead of the ty td...But just wondering which engines to use as there so many out there, audi, seat vw, then there 90,110 and 130 bhp versions....
