Hi all,

Pardon my electrical inexperience, have bought the above it all appears good quality and and instructions pretty clear.

I have tried searching but can not find definitive answer......should i be connecting the trigger (i think) for the relay to the wire running from alternator to instrument panel battery warning light, or to KLXA/KL15A in the fusebox?

I have a 1998 1.9td, if I should be connecting to the alternator could anybody advise which colour wire I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance

Si

Hi,

You need to take a feed from the D+ wire which is the blue wire coming from the alternator I believe (or at least it is on mine). You can either splice into the wire from the alternator or take a feed from the panel behind the relays. I'm not sure which connection is D+ but I'm sure someone on here will advise shortly.

Have a search for other similar posts as there is a diagram on where these D+ connections are in the panel.
