Hi

Thinking of fitting an alarm to my T4. I have a toad Ai606 that I got for a car years ago but never fitted.

I don't think I'll be fitting it myself as electrics are not my friend, but have a mate who does it for a living so will probably get a good deal on fitting.

Question is.. the alarm comes with fobs for locking/unlocking but I don't currently have central locking so is it just a case of fitting the motors/mechanism and the alarm will take over the wiring side of things?

Thanks Stu

Basically!

Buy a central locking kit and that will connect to your alarmT: usually just a couple of wires.

The cheap locking kits are good, I recommend getting the genuine VW Central locking rods and retaining clips for the front doors as the ones that come with the kit are near impossible to get to fitT:
