H all

After Cambelt snapped/ engine rebuild the van still leaked oil . Went back to garage who seemed to have cured this problem

After a week away from the van ( hols) my first trip leaked coolant. Went back again and there is a slight leak in radiator (bottom left drivers side). Quoted £185 for new fitted but I did point out that they had radiator out to mend the oil leak...fell on deaf ears :(

Can't really afford this at present so do I add some radweld or just top up- its a 2.5 88bhp. Have done this on basic cars but not sure on diesels etc

Any comments welcome T:...or donationsI: not a summer of love

Agree with K seal if you can't afford to get a new radiator yet. Mine sprung a leak and left a nice big puddle, bunged a bottle of K seal in and its been fine since several months down the line.

Thanks for all replies

Not a massive leak so will look at K seal as £200 is not an option at present.

ive gota rad from a 1997 1.9 td you can have cheap .pm me bud...
Hi Odannyboy

Thanks for the offer.

Not sure if the rad is the same as mine's a 2002 2.5.

The radiator is actually £120 the rest is fitting (2 hours). I'm V busy at moment so cannot fit myself at present...although I'm also a bit scared to try also:eek:

Will monitor/ add K seal in short term. Thanks again for additional comments

Regards

Rob
