hi chaps,just completed a 1500 mile round trip to tignes and back snowboarding only to get back and the glow plug light keeps flashing,any ideas?,thanks in advance.T:

Have a look at your brake lights. This could be that simple. Common problem.

Only thing to do is plug it into vagcom. Mine meant faulty alternator. Other ones can mean anything to a fubared injector. Get the code from vagcom and go from there

you're probably gonna need to plug it into vagcom then mate, the glow plug light is showing there is a fault registered. is it 2.5 tdi??
if so i got this one off ebay.... vagcom lead

Common fault is also the brake light switch
Theres 2 sides to it the lights and a signal to the ecu
But an ecu read will stop the guessing .
