Hi All,

Got a rattle and reckon its the flexible exhaust coupling thing: http://www.justkampers.com/shop/friction-ring-spring-for-manifold-downpipe-to-manifold-j13053.html

Had a look through the forum and seems to be awkward to replace. Has anyone paid a garage to do it recently? If so how much £ did they charge?

Are you sure its that? Could just be the heat shield.

I've recently replaced this on mine but mine was more of a squeak when changing gear rather than a rattle. There is a wedge you can buy to remove the clips but all I did was put a rope trough the hole in the clip and tied the other end to a pry bar and levered the clip open, using the subframe to lever off. Worked a treat but I was lucky enough to have the van on a lift at a mates garage.
