Hi guys, my friend has just bought a t4 that has been lowered 60mm, but also has a bit of a heavy camper kit in the back. But the ride is not the best, after lookin under the van we can c that there is bout 2mm clearance on the bumpstops, would it be safe to cut them down and also would it make the ride better if we did?????

I may be wrong but when I looked at them without takin the wheel off, there a coned sort of shape and don't look 2 have 60mm on them, and then cut them and say 2 leave 60mm on them!

Its the front ones I wanna cut, the bac ones are fine! Cheers
All depends how low your running buddy,if your just dropped about 60mm then 10/15mm removed from stops will probably suffice, any lower and you'll need to remove more, remember to re-shape them and try to keep to the cone shape to keep them progressive.
Good luck,
Gaz.
