hi all i brought my 2000 t4 with a few problems 1 of them fuel Gauge not working i have checked all the fuses cuz i dont know what 1 is for the fuel Gauge I: .. took the passenger seat out to look at the sender, rite just a few questions to help me along or somewhere to start ...

1 if i bridge the terminals on the sender plug will the gauge go up
2 should there be 12v to 1 of the terminals ?

Figured it out just thought id say because it might help someone else out I tested the leads that plug on the fuel sender unit I was getting just over 1v and bridging dont make the gauge go up either cuz I tryed it on my mates t4 .. so I took the sender out of the tank and an easy fix for me a wire had broke all good now T:
