Hi, I recently bought a 2nd hand T5. Its the 6 speed 130bph model, but there seems to be a whirring sound constantly that has just started. I think it's the fuel pump, has anyone got if this is a common problem and what the soloution is? Any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks
this used ot be quite a common fault, there is a cotton reel bush you can put in somewhere under the seat (costs about 60p) and that stops it, we did one for andy off of road wars, now wheres his jobcard???
apparently it goes between the fuel cooler underneath the cotton reel costs £4.88inc vat 191201256, takes about 10mins to sort, if you get really stuck give me a shout
I've got a low mileage, 2004 T5 whirring away from under the passenger seat.
Sounds very similar to yours, but cant see a thing from below bedause of the underlining.
Did this advice do the trick?
