Been to my local bookers today and they have gm mod soya based vegy oil at £20.60 for 20 litres

usually use rape seed but more expensive

can anyone tell me if this is ok to use?

Aye its fine, chuck it in... Ive used it before on my twin tank t4, cant tell any difference to rapeseed...Do you use vegiboost in it to raise the octine ?

works fine just smells different

i use Vegiboost & 10% unleaded petrol in the mix :D

you dont want to use any soya based veg oil as i causes gumming inside the engine,
try and stick to rapeseed oil if you can....
Thats what i was thinking, saw your dub and was wandering what happened to your van? I assume its gone to new pastures? :*

yes mate its gone to a new home,I really loved that van.
I got myself a 1.8t golf but miss the van, so if all goes well get a little project in the new year
I thought i could live without one but i cant................T:

on the vag oil front, i ran mine on well filtered waste veg oil i get from work. if you are close to st ives i have no need for it anymore so are more than welcome to it, and best of all its free.......
