My new van T:
18" RS4 Alloy Wheels
Lowered 80mm springs and Sachs/boge touring gas shocks
quick shift gear linkage
Full respray in vw anthracite grey with a gloss black roof
First job stripping of the interior for flash band and insulation T:
Flash band kindly donated by my next door neighbour

Quick update
New gear knob fitted, standard but I like it
Dog helping with the insulation lRasp:
Thermowrap finished, and ply floor fitted
Does anyone think it's worth putting in some loft insulation to fill in the gaps?

Dont use loft insulation, its nasty stuff. Use recycled plastic insulation from B&Q- looks the same but isnt toxic and irritating its soft like sheeps wool
check it out on our thread, i reckon we'll use two rolls doing the whole van T:

Tonight's work
Ply floor off again and wheel arches carpeted
Ply for back down again and Left band side wall panel refitted
Barn doors covered and carpeted
Mega Van Mats stretch carpet, amazing stuff, highly recommend

love the finish on the wheel arches i ts the first time i have seen that, or maybe ihave just missed that alot of the other times!!

Finished carpeting right hand wall panel
Carried out a trial fit of new back door cover, not the best fit, going to take a bit of work to make it look neat
Still waiting on windows coming from tidy transporters

Volt meters arrived, handy for keeping an eye on battery levels when we're camping, cost £1.45 delivered from China, amazing valueA:
Also trial fitted new side door step, had to screw down as it wasn't the best fit and bit out of shape
Think a might glue it down as well

Mines is screwed in too mate, with a bit of ply under to bring it up to the floor level.

Got mines from ebay made 17mm higher, so the heights pretty good

Last two nights work
New floor from mega van mats arrived, altro flooring
Laid flooring out in living room for a day to straighten out
Took our time and gently cut it out, pardon the French but it was a c*nt to fit
8 Stanley blades and 2 pairs off scissors later, glued it down using same spray adhesive as we used for carpet
Fitted side and barn door covers
Misses and dog enjoying the fruit of our labours
Next job glue down and silicone seal round top of side door step
And windows have arrived!!T:

We Trimmed glue around window
Started carpeting around sliding door, decided to try do this in sections
Will finish off tomorrow it got dark
