hi guys not sure if i have put this in the right section so i will say sorry now. Right my problem is that on my van when i turn my sidelights on and then turn the ignition on the headlights light up a bit like on the old mk4 escorts and on my eg civic, on my civic i just unpluged a box under the bonnet do any of you know if i can do the same on my van and if so which box or relay do i take out cheers and thanks lee:)

I think you need to disconnect the resistors/rheostats mentioned in this thread :-

Yep - its yellow and its behind/above the R/H Headlight.

I just disconnected mine and I now have just normal sidelights.

The dim-dip law is one that was abolished before it was even introduced.
