Looking at changing the headunit, but for now wanted to sort out an aux in. i have found the pin out block diagram:

but when removing the RCD200 i noticed a purple and white wire floating around?

Anyone know what this is for?

Not part of the original wiring. At some point the previous owner has had another head unit fitted and this wire is probably connected to either an ignition supply or the reverse gear signal.
