Hello from sunny Plymouth in Devon.

My name's Allan I'm 38 and I've just out the deposit down on my first ever T4 which I pick up next weekend, to say I'm excited is an understatement.
I have a daughter who's 5 and my missus Debbie has two teenagers and a little one herself.

That's enough about me now my van....

She's a 2003 LWB T4 in Mauve Purple. Inside she has lots of extras all installed by a company called Stanford Coachworks in Essex with the equipment supplies by Pegabus in Finland.
The inside has a huge list of parts and detail which will make a great base for me to change her into a Day-van / Surfbus over the winter ready for next summer.

She is a 9 seater currently but my plan is to install a Rock and Roll bed with full length cupboards with cooker, sink and fridge.
I've come to the part of my life where I want to travel and enjoy the beach and camping with my little family.

Hope to get some pics on here soon of the bus

Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you

Allan

Hi Allan, and welcome to the forum my friend T:

I'm sure you and your family will enjoy T4 ownership, and you yourself will begin to wonder why you never thought of buying one all those years ago, like so many of us.

You'll find a wealth of information on here, the 'Members Build' threads are always a good place to start, particularly when you're planning a conversion, loads of great ideas in those threads.

Looking forward to the pics mate T: I'm particularly interested to see how a mauve T4 look's! :D I:

Welcome mate, I started with a 9 seater shuttle, sold the 3rd row tripple and fitted full width R&R bed. I just drop the middle row out whe we are heading camping. Great set up for me anyway.

Good luck with the new member of the family..:ILU:

The roof is intriguing me mauve, is it a pop top or a semi high top? I've never seen that shape roof before :*:*:*

She's a semi high top.

I think the coachbuilder used a poptop system but changed it to a fixed system for the internal roof decoration and build. She has a roof light window installed too

Very nice, should make a lovely camper, if your stripping out all the seats and selling them you should get a decent wedge towards the conversion, let the fun and games begin T:

Is this a good place to sell all the seats? They are black leather with alacantra centres in very very good condition

It's as good a place as any, you have to be a paid up member to place classified adverts on here though, it's £10 a year, you also get extra photo storage, extra message storage and the ability to edit posts T:
