So as many know, i'm gonna start making teardrop trailers at about half the price i've seen them about for but before i go ahead i just wanna make sure i'm supplying what people will want.

SO am i going down the timber woody route which will be second nature for me

Can't see pic 4 Keith so I'll wait before I vote.

I prefer the second woody, but, the grp one would better towed by a T4 I reckon, unless you had a woody style custom T4 thang going on T:.

I thought wood would be heavier so probably better to tow than grp.

Allan, what do you mean about "woody style custom T4 thang going on" very interested T: No 2 is my favourite aswell but it's about the general consensus of the client i'm concerned about.

I haven't got a woody style going on, unless you mean my yellow checkered shirt and cowboy hat .

Are you going woody?


Although the second woody seems to be favourite I'd worry it's the whole package peeps are looking at, looks sweet behind that woody sedan but photoshop it behind a blue T4 and I'm not so sure, each to there own though.

Hi Keith,

Number 3 gives a good base for people to customize like running boards, wood look vinyl rap or even add timber work as in pic 2.

also its low maintenance and lighter weight.

Nope, I'm with you.


1, Won't suit a standardish looking T4.
2, As above.
3, About right, subtle shape changes to front needed.
4, Too short and dumpy.

Bear in mind peeps that i was going for a single rear door.........Unless i do both :*

So what i'm getting so far is GRP with the option to customise how they like, and slightly bigger (not so dumpy) Pic 4

Nothing saying i couldn't produce one off custom timber ones though i suppose
