Hi - I need a drivers side seatbelt for my 2000 T4. Whist removing my half bulk head, the vibration of the hammer popped the seatbelt mechanism out of the bodywork and it wound itself up, cant unwind it. Wondering if this is what they are designed to do in a crash maybe? It made an awesome bang!

Anyone breaking a van let me know. I'll continue the search

Cheers all

Hello mate - the belts have to be in the right orientation to unroll otherwise the inertia lock kicks in.
Have you tried mounting it in the van and then unrolling it? :D
