As it says in the title really guy's and gal's.

I need to download vids/clips from youtube or where ever to use in powerpoint presentations.
So what I'm after is an idiots guide to get the vid/clip from the internet and onto my pc so I can insert it into a slide?
I've just spent nearly 3hrs trying to work it out myself and at my wits end, so thought I'd ask if any of you nice peeps would give me the know how before the pc visits the garden in pieces:eek:
PLease, please................pretty please.............with a cherry on top...........have I begged enough yet?????????????

Cheers

I use youtube downloader. It's freeware and you can get it here

It's really easy and self-explanitary to use, I usually save the files as avi's.

In powerpoint, just select insert-movie file, thats it!:D

Hope this helps

or you can download and install realplayer. Then when your on youtube, just hover over the video and it asks you if you want to download it.
