dose any one know how to wire up a electric motor that gose on a electric seat . i have a set of saab seats in my van and i would like to get them working . the motor has two wires coming from it if you put them on a battery the seat gose forward an if i reverse the wires the seat will move back . so what i done was brought a switch that is on off on but it will not work but the one i have dose not have a seperate earth dose any one know where i can get one from .or is there another way of wireing the motor up

can i do this with a relay and switches any idear

The Techs at work seem to be of the opinion an eleccy window or sunroof switch should be up to the job as they are designed to operate in 2 directions and are generally earthed (if that makes sense) so it could be time for a trip to the breakers yard for a pair and get the multimeter out
