I have brought 2 seats from a MK 1 Ford Galaxy they both rotate, the problem i have is that the bases on what my seats are on now are to big they need to be lower. Does anyone know where i can buy lower ones. Hope it makes sense

do you mean you will now ??,people on here have cut the bases down as you dont get a shorter one

cut right round the middle of the base then drop the top part inside the bottom part lower it down to the required height then weld her up/grind and paint,hope i described it good enough

I had to cut down both bases to fit some MGZR seats on swivels.

Hope the pic helps describe what t4virgin said. Ends up being double welded then so is super strong too.

If you don't fancy getting into that then I have started to fabricate bases that can be made any height Brand new I mean, not from old bases!
