Hello forum, thanks for the help in the past - I have an issue that has been on and off for the last few months.
I've searched all over the forum, and other american forums as I am driving a 1992 Canadian Eurovan CL - Automatic Petrol gasoline. Same thing, just different branding.
Either when I am at a red light, or coming from a rolling stop idling- and I add my foot to the gas pedal at a normal pressure, it sometimes just kind of chugs going into gear and dies. It has even died while turning a corner around 20 kms/hour.
Only if I geeeeently apply my foot, it will slowly go into gear with out dying.
I have found countless threads, but not really a straight answer. I have been searching for months! Here is what I have found thus far as possible fixes...
1) Replace ECM relay #30 (spot number 3) and fuel pump relay #80 ( spot number 12 ). I currently have a 167 in spot number 12 instead of the suggested 80, as the van came that way.
Where do I buy these relays? on eBay, I found some aftermarket ones for the 30, but can't find any for the 80. Has anyone here found a good sight to get these from? Or are the eBay ones good?
2) Replace the ECM alltogether. I have found a couple on eBay for around $200 USD, and one 1.5 hours from my city for $100USD.
3) Replace the TPS - Throttle Position Sensor. This might make sense since, lets say I am going 50 kms/hr and I throw my foot down, there is a slight delay until the throttle kicks in. And also regarding it stalling from a stop or a rolling stop.
4) Hall Effect Sender. Don't know much about this one.
5) Fuel pump altogether.
6) Temp sensor, or that little sensor in the ECM that has a vacuum hose coming from it.
7) new Vacuum hoses, replace all
8) New Spark plugs (which I bought, just haven't replaced yet)
I am currently missing 2 feet of pipe that connects the catalytic converter to the muffler, making the bus very loud, but I don;t think this would be the source of my problem, unless somehow it is a pressure issue?
Here are some other threads to read about as well...

It really seems like it could be either one, or a few of the fixes above, just wondering on some advice before I begin ordering parts I do not need.
Thanks!
