Can anyone recommend a good independent VW garage that has VW diagnostic equipment?

I've been to three local garages today who haven't been able to help as they say that my T4 is too old (1992 T4 Caravelle) to get a read out on their diagnostics equipment to find out why the emissions is too high...

My Caravelle is failing on emissions as it's running rich / over fuelling so I need to get it on a diagnostics to check to what error codes and sensor(s) needs changing ASAP.

I'm booked in for my MOT re-test on Friday so I'm running out of options!!! :*

Any recommendations for VW specialists in or around the Guildford / Horsham / Crawley area would be appreciated! T:

Just spoken to VW main dealer who have told me that due to the age (1992) the diagnostics report will be very limited and may not show anything at all!

I therefore now need someone who knows their way round a Classic T4 2.0 Petrol....and knows what to look for on an emissions fail!!

Where about are you mate, I've got diagnostics for the older VW ( black and white connectors) also we've been looking after VWs for over 25 years

I'm in Cranleigh, Surrey. How old a car does your diagnostics kit cover?

Mine's a 1992 2.0 Caravelle (petrol) pre cat.

I would expect to cover yours, although it may be a case of reverting to proper mechanicing and diagnosing the problem manually

Tried that today...have a look at my other thread : http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=155918 to see what's been done so far....net result has been a drop from 11% CO2 down to 9.6% CO2 reading...
