Hello,
I have a VW T4 2.4d.
Im a bit concerned whether i will have too much weight in my van and mess it up due to the weight. I have explained below what i'm planning to do.
Im adding another 3 seats behind passenger and drivers seat then will be blocking behind the 3 new seats with wood(mdf). My plan is to use the back area as a work van (plumbing and heating van) and front area as normal. Also i will be taking out the plyline covering it with material to make it look a bit presentable. Also the back area of the van will have some raking for my tools.
The van is used alot for work and pleasure. All the items below will always be in the van and may have people sitting in the seats aswell at times which will add the weight on too.

Weights

3 extra seats 75kg
Tools 70kg
van raking 35kg

TOTAL 180kg

Mine is a 1200 so i guess it will be ok.
Currently get about 35 miles to the gallon without the extra weight.

Thanks for comments
