Got in the van the other day afer work and drove about 5 miles. Stopped off to have haircut and reversed out of parking spot and van crunched into reverse. Didn't think much about it because I thought matbe i didn't have the clutch down far enough..

Drove another couple of miles and as i approached a junction it wouldn't go from 4th to 3rd, so i tried 2nd and it went in.

Got to next junction and stopped, couldn't find any gear at all. When i eventually did the van wanted to move but my foot was on the clutch. I managed to get the van home but struggled with gears by then. When the van is switched off the gear stick moves into all gears no probs.

Is this a clutch problem or a gear box problem do you think and if so how hard to fix etc

Clutch has gone bad, maybe the bearing has worn through the spring so it wont disengage
