Hi there. This is my first post and i would be grateful of any help. My van was lowered before i baught it. recently it has been bottoming out and was rubbing the wheelarch in the snow. I thaught it was the shocks, had them replaced but this still happens occasionally. I have been told, the springs may have softened or something so im looking to replace these, the problem is I dont know what size to get. How do I tell?

As I said, thanks for any help

Post a pic and we'll have a guess! :D

The recemendation on here seems to be 40 - 50mm springs if you often carry a lot of weight or 60mm if not, you can always wind up or down the front torsion bar to keep it level.

Your wheel offset might be too large so they stick out too far. Mine only rubbed the side of the tire once when i was lowered 60mm and i was moving house and i had a motorbike in the back!! My wheels had an offset of et35.

Have a look here and you might be able to work out how much yours lowered compared to all these:
