Hi

Did the 1.9 PP mods today. Fitted a bleed valve and boost gauge and am running just under 1 bar, and have wound the fuel screw in and backed off the idle screw. Will be fitting intercooler soon.

How much smoke should I have from the exhaust? I get a puff when revving it at idle and when I put my foot down in low revs just before the boost comes in I get a big puff, but when I'm driving at steady revs or once it comes on boost it doesn't smoke.

It isn't a James Bond' style smoke screen by any means, but does chuck up a cloud when I put my foot down

Its a bit more smoke than I'd like but is this just a side effect of the tuning?

Is this ok?

How much did you turn the fuel screw by? may be worth backing it off slightly and see what happens.

Not sure as I removed it totally to get the anti-tamper ring off.

Its definately smoking too much, going to back it off a bit today

Worth doing as a tiny change makes a big difference. try a quarter of a turn at a time and take it for a run. Might take a while but worth doing
