how to go about changing metal coolant pipe in picture

How do I go about changing this coolant pipe, in the picture attached. it runs under the cylinder head.

is it a case of taking the bumper off, intercooler and rad to get to it ?

or can it be done with engine in situation.

I have the sub frame out at the moment so could lower the engine on the passenger side could I do it like that ?

any help please with this one.

Ive replaced one without removing the front or subframe, little tricky but did come out without major surgery!

I know this is for a Golf but it can be done without too much dismantling, my mechanic did it on my kombi but he can’t remember how he did it! 🤷🏻

I dropped the oil filter assembly off and I think I removed the front engine mount too. Make sure you use a genuine pipe, the initial aftermarket one I bought was rubbish.
