I have found a list of AA calipers in the threads but mine wasn't listed. These are marked as Girling 54. I am going to change disc and pads and can find one video on youtube on how to strip it. Any advise welcome. Rob

Never seen that type of caliper on a t4 but- as the AA vans were used to tow a lot- they might be a factory upgrade. What size are the discs if you don't mind asking ?

Thanks for that, is that a solid or a vented disc ? Most references i see on the net relates to solid discs on girling calipers...maybe i am wrong ?

Either way, find a set of galaxy vr6 or 4motion brake discs and upgrade, they are 313mm discs and single, massive sliding piston- well worth the upgrade... They bolt on with only slight drilling on the hub carrier lugs, from 16mm to 18mm...and enjoy increased brake power and easy to modulate brake pedal feel !

Why not contact AA with your VIN and ask THEM what their computer says?
They must have service records.....
