Way back between 1979-1981 I worked in Her Majesties dockyard Gibraltar, in the lathe shop and other places, later as a gardener/handyman at the Garrison Library. Just for the heck of it I sent off a request to see if I qualified for a pension from the Gibraltar Government.
Just got a letter saying I qualify for £16:68 a month BACKDATED. I should be in line for about £350 of the Queens shillings.
Luverly Jubbly.
Motto, retirement may seem a long way off for some of you out there but make sure you keep your documentation
(wage chits, etc) in a safe place.
Cheers, Tony.:mw:cheers:db
