tried fitting a pipercross replacement filter to my 2.5 tdi ,but it seemed slightly too long and wouldn't sit
right . the rubber kept getting trapped and i nearly broke one of the spring clips trying to do it up. i gave up and put the old one back in. has anyone experienced this and are they generally ill fitting ?.part no .pp1435

spoke to bloke at pipercross today and he had a right defensive attitude problem,
spend £35 for a piece of sponge, i expect it to at least fit snugly!

Your right you would expect to fit ok, some companies have a customer service rating of :*:*:*:* all, attitude of take your money and thats the end of it :(

Take it back to where you bought it as its not fit for purpose if it wont go in.

Agreed, Sales of Goods Act states it must be fit for purpose, as described and of satisfactory quality. If it was sold as fitting a T4 and clearly doesn't, you have a right to a refund. Stick it back up Mr Bad Attitudes posterior :D
