Still got an Immobilizer fault, managed to find some diagrams on here that will help and FIL a T4 Forum member has sent me a nice link to an Ebay item to bypass it (which I will order if I have no luck), any advice hints, tips of how to bypass etc. would be much appreciated, I plan to start having a look in depth later this afternoon , Still loosing all dash lights after about five seconds after ignition switched on.

Also if anyone knows a good auto electrician in the Nottingham/Derby area that may be a big help if all else fails

I'm missing driving my T4 (Vinnie) so Please help me LOL

Sounds like an aftermarket imobiliser, standard one shouldn't cut power to the dash. Engine dieing a couple of secs after you've started it is the usual symptoms for a std imomo.

Aftermarket immo can often be disabled by cutting both the earth wires.

Only had the van a few days not been all around yet, I've seen a sparkrite unit in the engine bay but i think this is an alarm and i've noticed a few wires have already been cut on this

The AA had to tow me home the other day and he seemed to think it was an immobilizer fault, his diagnostics unit also pointed to this, checked and fuel solenoid not being energized etc.

Hi, I'm having an imobiliser prob too

Had the imo chip out and reprogrammed but still no good, AA membership has more than paid for itself :-(

Electrical specialists looking at it for the 3rd time monday, will update - but if you find anything else let us know
