Hey all, I have a 2002 ajt 88hp 2.5 and I want to put a set of 102 Bosch injectors in with some pp nozzles of the forum however when I fitted them to test before I pay for new nozzles etc the van is really struggling to run and tick over sounds like its dropping onto 3 cylinders and although it clears up a bit when driving its absolutely gutless!!
I have done a lot of reading on the net and people are saying the acv injectors are twin pressure rating due to tick over pressure and driving pressure. The injectors I have say nothing of two ratings...... The lift sender injector is 074 130 202 A, the other 4 are 074 130 201 C They all say 190 bar and thats it. Have I got a set of faulty injectors or are they the wrong ones? any info would be much appreciated.

Fitting the 102 units to the 88 isnt straight forward especially if they have oversize nozzles.
they have different maps and will need the idle fueling set up.

I would not take this as a sign of duff injectors however I would heed the following advice -

Get them set up with the nozzles fitted for both stages to open at the correct pressures.

How do I go about getting them set up? I know it will need a map to run correct but most people have said that on fitting they see more power straight away however I am seeing less and the engine isn't just lumpy as to expected its struggling to tick over at all are they diffenitly the correct injectors as I said above they only state one pressure rating?

The PN is correct for an ACV code injectors set.
I dont know the origin of the nozzles - whether they are genuine PP ones or from somewhere else.
Simply fitting nozzles to injectors and throwing them in will not guarantee results.

Either way the correct the pressures will need to be set and the units tested and calibrated to have them working correctly.

To do that you would need to send them to us or another reputable diesel specialist.
