Hi

In going to insulate the floor with celotex and wood battens soon and then 18mm ply but was wondering, this will raise the floor by 43mm so what do you do about the side step and rear step? the plastic trims will no longer fit.

Also anyone got any tips on covering the back wheel arches? the last owner had tried with carpet but due to its awkward shape it looks a right mess.

12mm would be more suitable (and lighter) Battern the floor, use thermowrap. Wheel arches are best in fabric see loads of other posts.

Step can be raised by putting same size ply underneath it.
