I have started to insulate the van on the barn door were the workings are I have flash banded and then stuck silver bubble insulation over then do I pack it with insulation its just that's there a drain hole in the bottom of the door :*

Hi,
I have barndoors and rear wipers and believe me this leaves little space for anything. I was also concerned that the doors have drainage at the bottom, so I made up some parcels of insulation that fit in to the spaces in bottom half of the doors.
Imagine wrapping a piece of insulation in bubble rap and taping it all up with aluminium tape into a pillow shape. I didn't want my lambswool insulation to soak up any moisture in the doors, so with these parcels of insulation any water that gets in there should drip off these parcels and find its way down to the drainage at the bottom of the doors. It seemed better than having no insulation at all
