Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had managed to find fire & theft insurance for SORNed vans. I'll be working out of the country for 6months and have found an understanding friend with a large garage However I'm finding it difficult to get anyone to offer insurance cover. I'm with Adrian Flux at the moment but they won't insure my van if I'm out of the country.

why do you need to insure it? is the garage secure?

Yes the garage is fairly secure and I guess fire is unlikely. I'm coming to the conclusion it may be easier to leave it un-insured!
