You haven't mentioned your age-group, but mine is through a specialist motorhome insurer mid-£400's for 20k per year inc European cover, business use and AA recovery.

But then I'm in the "over 40's" category :(

Try looking at the camping & caravannning website there's a few specialist links there.

I'm 32 and have a 2004 LWB 2.5, 174bhp with full camper conversion.

My insurance is £440 fully comp for me and the Wife, with Safeguard.
They even phoned the guy who did the conversion to get the exact spec of the conversion so there should be no queries in future (touch wood).

Pro mod 1.9 t5 £375 with Aviva 39 years clean licence thatcham 2. I did notice on top gear a while ago they insured their cars during a challenge and they said there job description which was "journalist" really upped the premium, clarkson lied and shaved hundreds of his, purely for comic effect though so obviously not to be tried. Can you see online somewhere what the insurance companies think of different job descriptions?

Good luck.

Ive just been quoted £525 from Adrian Flux. (FC protected) (yesterday, starting in feb)
42 with +9yrs ncd.
pop roof, additional windows declared.

Before mods, quote was around £350, T4 with no mods was about £270.

I've doubled my premium in a few short months - gutted.

still phoning around.
I agree, occupation does have a lot to do with it

I'm an ex driving instructor, ins companies told me my advanced driving didnt mean squatt - how rude

you havnt got the dreaded phrase 'modified' in your quote, tell em you changed the wheels and it'll propbably double :(
