I was wondering if anyone new of a company in N.Ireland/Ireland that would let me insure my van as a 2nd vehicle for limited millage, as I plan to use it mostly for occasional weekend use & have another car for normal day to day drivng...:*

I would even consider a GB company if they would quote for Ireland....

If anyone could give me information on this it would be great, Thanks in advance.....T:

I used Glynwood, who do insurance for Campers. They were great on price, only stipulation was that it had to be or was going to be a camper at some point and that you had it as a 2nd vehicle. Make sure you say it is going to be a camper though as was 550 cheaper than being a plain van!

I used insuremyvan.ie to cover my work van , not sure if they cover the Northern Ireland. Found them to be good and cheap.

I use Dolman Insurance. Give them a ring I found them very helpful.

Autoline based in Newry are quite a big outfit and are VERY competitive. AXA are also worth trying.
