somehow managed to get the wipers on fast intermitent earlier,
just been out again and its back to its 10 minute wipe again.
so the questions are
1-are my wipers playing up?
2-is there a fast intermitent and im just to dull to work it out?
its a 1.9td panel on an R plate

think they work like this... put ur wipers to intermitent then put them off then put them back to intermitent the longer you
leave the gap is the time it goes off and on. clear as mud lol
found handbook and it says.......wipe delay can be programmed between 1.5 and 22 secs..
switch on inter wipe and wipe once
switch off inter wipe and then switch on again after desired delay.
the selected delay can be changed as often as required. after switching off ignition it reverts back to a 6 sec delayT:

Don't worry about it Sam. I only figured it out after I was on my 2nd Caravelle, some 12 years in and 250k miles of driving. Boy did I feel a right knuckle dragger. T:

I've always set my fast intermittent by turning on, then up to fast wiper and straight back to intermittent. It's taken me four years to suss that out, now Iv'e got to reprogramme my b/@@dy head again. Here we go then, speak to you in another four years when I get the hang of it !!

Intermittant wipers on, leave it and intermittant off, leave it......the same time delay the wipers come on again. its all to do with the relay, it was a common golf 2 upgrade. cant remember relay number.
