Hi guys just a question/query.
I will be getting a new trolley jack soon for use at home and I'm fully aware that the supplied jack is a bit poo, so I will be buying a 1.5t scissor jack to keep in the van when out on the road.
My question is, if I got a puncture, instead of lifting on the sill, could I not just jack under where the shock is bolted? This way it would only need a couple of inches to get the wheel up rather than all the suspension sag. It seems to make more sense to me, and would probably help guys and gals with lowered vans. The lower control arms take the weight of that corner so in theory should cope with being jacked 2 inch.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

Mark
