I'm in the process of converting my Syncro to a Camper. I'm interested in peoples experience of which layouts for interior furniture and fittings work best.

For example, I want the rear of my van to allow the cooking hob and sink to slide out from the back under the tailgate. But what are the disadvantages of this type of layout for interior? Presumably I can't have a rock n'roll type seating with this layout.

You can have a r'n'r bed with a rear kitchen. My 2nd T4 had that sort of layout. The bed seat was behind the driver and opened backwards.
