Not been able to find this on the search, so possibly a new/ daft idea!

Looking at my engine bay, trying to work out how to cram a second huge battery in there, I realised I really don't want to move the ecu and fuses, just asking for trouble stressing old cables.

Then it occurred to me; when I had the k&n cone filter there was a huge space underneath it just asking to be filled. I've put a standard air box in recently though as was worried about the maf.

So has anyone put their leisure battery on the air box side of the bay?? And what are the non oily alternatives to the Vw huge air box?

Surely someone has tried this?

If not I'm just going to have to make space in the usual place, and I'm not looking forward to fitting a 110AH in there!

Ive though the same but was just going to use an old gel 72ah battery that i had so it can handle sitting on the end.

im still not sure i like the engine sound now so was going to try another filter.
ive the Pp1 injectors and 2.5inch exhast.
