So....am looking at T4 vans and / or Caravelles.

LEZ compliant is essential.......would I be right in thinking:

ALL Caravelle's are LEZ compliant but only T4 vans from a certain year (?) and/or with a new catalytic converter are compliant AND one has to have them tested yearly (but NOT the Caravelle's)...

Am I on the right 'track' guys (and gals)?

Caravelles classed as MPV's on the V5 log book and camper vans with a GVW of under 2500kg are exempt.

Most T4 campers are over 2500kg but they can be downplated and caravelles not classed as MPV's can be registered as most are now used as family vehicles and were bought in good faith - a small point I raised with my local MP (back in the day when I lobbied hard for our cause) and hey presto the DVLA changed it's attitude on rereg's.
