Ive got my lower ball joint rattling around and could really do with changing it tomorrow (have the new one).
I did one about 3 years ago but cant remember exactly what i did but managed to borrow a great big puller thing which made it fairly easy. (i cant get it again tho)
Ive read that i should disconnect the drive shaft or wedge something up to stop it pulling out?? (didnt do this last time but have read a few stories where peepz have come unstuck not doing it)..
I have all the tools (spline bits, ball joint fork and borrowed a scissor one which im not sure will help)
Which is the easiest way of doing the job?? Is it easier to remove the part of the suspension that the BBJ is fastened to and split it when not attached to the van??
Any tips would be most welcome so i don't turn a 45 min job into 4 hrs with a bleeding hand and bruised knuckle..
