I have a Variotech bed which is :* uncomfortable. I know some of you out there use a memory foam mattress foam topper to ease the pain.

So my question is ....... How thick ? :dunno:

1"?
2"?
3"?
4"?

Any advice gratefully received :ILU:

I got given some 2" slept like a log on ply boards.
I thought it would compress too much but it simply spread my weight.
Over a variotec I would think that you could go thinner.
Are you trying to even out bumps or is the bed too hard?

I used a blow up mattress (not to be confused with doll! LOL:) on my bed system to even it out, worked a treat and only £15 from Asda, folds up really small when not in use and easily infalted in minutes with an electric pump; foam is nice but very bulky when you don't need it and have to store it. :ILU:

I purchased a 1" memory foam job in the end. Used it at Camperjam for the first time, and it was ............EXCELLENT!

Thanks all
