Wordy title - i know.

I have been trying to test my engine sensors, i removed the oil filter sensor wire from its sensor and after a moment my van buzzed and the oil light flashed. Upon reconnecting all was fine - thus suggesting it works.

When i tried the higher oil pressure sensor mounted on the engine itself, nothing happened - would it? Should it?

Can anyone advise?

Try revving it to 200RPM after disconnecting the upper oil pressure switch and see if the light comes onT:
