Literally posting on here for my brother - he's got a Ford Ranger and has had it remapped and decat'd. He's now bought a performance intercooler for it and we got discussing whether or not he will need a new remap. I think the new intercooler alone will give him more BHP (hope so at the price he's paid!) so he doesn't necessarily need a new remap, but if he did go for a remap he could get even more BHP. However, if he's moving away from standard fittings, would this remap have to be a rolling road one or would the diagnostic readings pick up his new set-up?
