I need this clearing up for my own sanity, i need good advise.
I had my Bola B25's delivered the other day and not fitted yet, got new from a well known online shop.
The wheels came as blanks so needed drilling.
On the rims are stamped 17x 7.5 , 5x110 , 540kg, VIA 700kg, et 40.
I asked for paperwork because i was told the load rating was 770kg,
They supplied me with a certificate stating VIA 770kg, the ET was changed to 44 and they been drilled 5x112 which is fine.
I have a 1200 lwb so 1510kg across front axel, cert says fine? wheels dont?
I've not fitted them yest as i want to be sure they are good.
I have spoke to the shop and they say this is fine and a common thing.
Am i been done here ?
Cheers

Been ripped off and they put your (and others) life in danger!

Yeah, it's ALL TOO common for incorrect rated wheels.
Ask for the TUV papers for them....if they can't supply, send them back.

"They supplied me with a certificate stating VIA 770kg"....TUV approved, or just something they printed from a PC?

Looking at the pics, there seems to be way too little metal in the spokes for a van!
Wheelbase (UK) don't even mention the T4 as "fitment".
Rimstyle don't have the B25s in there "van rated" range....

I can send them back as not fitted and payed by card. I spent quite a while on the phone with The sales guy and he also put it in writing that they are rated enough. Yes i did get a copy of some thing i could knock up on my pc, No manufacturer stamps or anything on it and you can not realy place the paperwork to the wheel apart from it stating the model of it
As you say i am very concerned that they have supplied these and put myself at risk,
Could you send me a message or get hold of me on facebook to talk to you about this as i don't want to name and shame on here .
I am not a new member, just lost my other login shiro_utsuri.
any help would be great
thanks

I remember. You did the cats and flooring. :)

Surprised you’ve been caught out as you used to spend a lot of time on here.

Hope you’re well, send the wheels back, and have a nice evening. T:

Yeah, but another "reputable" company supplied me with wheels and tyres..."Van Rated".
Except when I got back to Norway, I had to change the tyres as they were only 97LI.
Luckily, wheels came with TuV papers, and they were correct.

Just ask for proof of TuV test results, and you'll be "safe".

Good result!

Anyone coming with "strange" wheel/tyre combos will get "feedback" from the "older members".

As long as you have the paperwork....go for them T:

Just don't forget to inform your insurance company, and send them copies!!!!
